This place is horrible and nasty. The building reeks of urine as soon as you hit the 2nd floor hallway. My aunt caught an infection from this facility and had to be rush to the emergency room at the local hospital. I witnessed a CNA look a vomit in my aunt's plastic basin and left it there then turned to walk out of the room without cleaning it. They serve artificial/processed food to the patients. My aunt did not move the bowels for 4 days in this place. She kept vomitting from being too full. They wait until situations are extremely bad before they do anything about it. Her doctor, nor no other doctor came to see about her the entire time she was there. This place didn't even have all the medication that she needed. It took them days to get her correct supply of medicine. They are very unprofessional. On top of it all when she was rushed to the hospital because of the infection, someone went through her belongings and stole something of value to her...ridiculous place. Don't even send your pet here. If I could rate this place a zero, I would.

my 80 year old mother was in there for 13 days following her surgery. I would not recommend this place to anyone. the care is horrible. she had to wait an hour for someone to respond to ringing for a nurse. first two days there she did not get any rehabilitation. staff was unprofessional. the food was never hot. they just don't care there. my mother ended up with scabies from this place. find another facility.

Go to.any alternative rehab center! The food is a plus. All else for my sister's relative was awful. She "fell" and we weren't informed for 2 days after we saw new bruising on her leg. Then we were initial denied when the nursing supervisor was asked, the story changed 2 more times. Her assigned doctor never sees her unless we request him. He sends others to do his job. He appears confused about he problems and tells us "I will get back to you".... hadn't happened, she was transferred. That told us all we needed to see. Try the Abram's Center, far better.

Better off taking your family member and or loved one to a shelter. This place is horrible. The nursing staff doesn't remember my mother's name let alone her problems. One tells me one thing and another tells me something else within minutes apart. The head nurse is clueless and never shows up to speak when an appointment has been made without any apologies twice, is short and seems detached. Others seem afraid of her or someone else, not ever telling me where she is. I had to take him to another facility. This place needs a state or some type of government inspection, shut down or big changes. I will never take a loved one there again.

The physician caring for my father was curt, aloof and disinterested in interacting with either my mother or I about my dad"s care, or for that matter much else. The nurses were great at explaining things. However, when things were a bit more complicated I was told that he comes in later in the day and will contact you. I tried 5 times until he came to visit my dad and gave worthless answers to our questions. I would not return to this facility if this is the physician care that patients and their family members receive.

If you need medical management of a condition after hospital discharge, this is not the place for you. Meds were prescribed for my mother that should not have been continued from the hospital despite my speaking with the admitting Dr and calling to speak with him on a later occasion. He never returned my call. I left a message for the nursing manager and never received a call back. My mother got so compromised that she had to be admitted to a hospital nearby in the step-down unit. It was difficult to get information from the nurses about my mother and my input regarding her physical status was ignored despite my being an RN.

My Father was sent to Power Back after a bad fall. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. There is absolutely no consistency with the staff - each and every time there is a staff change in shift, the program changes. If you are scheduled for physical therapy or occupational therapy good luck having it on time; You get inconsistent answers from the staff depending on who you talk to; unless you are able to advocate for yourself you better have someone with you at all times; be prepared to wait a minimum of 15 minutes before someone responds to your "call" button; expect to get no sleep while you are there since everyone keeps their television on full volume all day and night; be prepared to chase people down to get answers to even the simplest question.; if you need help getting dressed you may be waiting until 11:00 am; I could go on and on. This has been the worst experience I have had with a health care facility. Everything is hit or miss depending on the staff. Some of the Staff is great and very conscientious and others just are taking up time and space.

The three times that my mother was at Power Back, she wound up in the hospital. The last time she was there, I was very concerned about the condition in which I found her. I told the nurse and doctor that I wanted her taken to the hospital, and they told me that she was fine. I insisted and they did call 911. She wound up in intensive care and was septic. The medical staff at the hospital told me not to use that facility again for rehab. After her hospital stay, I had her admitted to another rehab center to get her on the road to recovery and back home.

My wife was in the Willow Ridge Alzheimer's section of the home and till the day that she passed away in the home I feel she got the very best personal care that any one could give a person in her condition, and I would recommend this home to any one with a loved one with a problem, the staff was very caring the home was exceptionally clean all of the time they had all kinds of activities for the patients.

My 90 year old mother spent more than 2 weeks here after a stay in the hospital. When she arrived she could walk only 20 feet. When she left she could not walk 10 feet. They mismanaged her medical care as badly. My mother was never incontinent but she reported to me that when she rang for the nurse to assist her to the bathroom they failed to respond and she urinated in her clothes most of the time. Their solution for this was to place her in diapers. The staff are generally incompetant and frequently lie to cover their monstrous actions.

Some of the staff is great others not so great. If you are able to communicate well you will do okay here. If you are like my dad who is currently at the facility you will be left alone not checked on and lied to by nurses and staff (not all) my mom is there all day with him now if she wasn't who knows how my dad would have continued to be treated.

I was at Powerback last year after my stroke. I visited them at the beginning of October and stayed there for about three weeks. They had CNAs and they were very lazy. The food was great. You get to pick what you want. They have journaling, music and bingo. They had other things for people to do. We're not to get lazy there.

My dad was in the hospital for a month and someone recommended Willow Ridge for his rehab. The food, the room, and the staff were good. He was really sick, he had his own room, and it was okay. Although, non of them is trained enough to help enough.
